I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to take a really quick look at the Snap-Loc Tie-Down Ratchet Strap.This is a really nice way to tie down any kind of gear that you might have in your enclosed trailer, open trailer, truck bed, or anywhere else, maybe on your roof rack, ladder rack, all kinds of places. So the thing that I like about Snap-Loc's straps in general is that they work pretty well.They also have a little strap keeper, so anytime you're tying stuff off, you're always going to have some excess strap, and then what do you do with it Do you tie it off Do you just let it flap in the wind It can get kind of annoying either way and you never really have a good clean solution for that, so this actually has a sewn-on little strap keeper. It's just a hook-and-loop piece, wraps all the way around. It gives you pretty good length, so no matter how you want to wrap it up, you should be able to get that around there. And it just kind of cleans up the install. more

Hey guys, it's Randy here, at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to be taking a look at a set of ratchet straps that we've put together, and we've really taken all of the best features that we found in any of the ratchet straps out there and put it all into one ratchet strap.So, I think you'll find once we take a look at these, they get a really a good set of features and make it easy to use. And we've also got a carrying bag that's included.Now with the carrying bag, you can keep everything in there, and there's even room for some extra stuff. A few tools that you might need, or maybe some gloves, if you want to put those in there. So you can keep everything nice and organized, and the bag does a good job of also keeping them protected. So you don't have to worry about rusting, we don't have to worry about them deteriorating very rapidly.So we'll take a closer look here, go over all the features that they offer, and I think you'll be impressed.All right, let's take a look at how some of those features are going to help us out. Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the ratchet tie-down straps with storage bag. So this is going to come with that storage bag. It's going to be waterproof, or water-resistant and we'll have our four ratchet tie-down straps to get any of our cargo or any of our items secured. So if you're securing a motorcycle in the back of your truck, or maybe putting it onto a flat bed trailer, hauling any kind of items, maybe securing a kayak or a canoe to the top of your vehicle, maybe on a ladder rack, any kind of application like that, these are going to be a great option.The thing that I really like about these is that they are ratcheting. We have a little strap keeper here on one end of our strap to keep down the excess, and then these are going to ratchet nice and easily so that you can get those cinched down in place. The other cool thing about these is that not only do they have the S-style hooks with that vinyl coating, but they also have a little keeper to help prevent any kind of slippage so you don't have to worry about these slipping out of place, especially whenever you're getting them installed. more

SmartStraps Ratchet Tie-Down Straps with S-Hooks Review- Video
Today we're going to be looking at SmartStraps ratcheting straps. They come as a quantity of four and you can get them as either 10 foot or 14 foot lengths and either 500 pound safe working load limit or a 1,000 pound safe working load limit.We're using a set of the 10 foot, 500 pound straps to hold our generator in place on our cargo carrier today. You can see that our straps are green here. The green indicates that it is a 500 pound working load limit. If it was orange in color it would be the 1,000 pound working load limit.The multiple colored straps is nice if you have many straps. You can easily identify which one is what working load limit so you can pick the appropriate strap for the appropriate application.The safe working load limit is the recommended limit for hauling items down the road safely because your vehicle has a lot of oscillations, you hit potholes, things are moving around. more

Review of SmartStraps Ratchet Straps - Standard Strap - 348249- Video
Today we're going to take a look at the SmartStraps Carbon-X 14' Long Ratchet Tie-Down Straps with the S-Hooks. They have a 1000 lb working load limit, and it is for a quantity of four straps.Now these tie-down straps will let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer. The ratchet mechanism right here makes it very easy to tighten down and maintain tension on the strap. Has a nice ergonomic flared handle on it, provides a maximum leverage while tightening and loosening the strap.The webbing they use is a nice SmartWeb webbing, which is stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard webbing. The pre-threaded webbing prevents accidental feeding from the wrong direction. The hooks on each end, they are steel S-hooks, which will let you anchor this strap to the rails, edges, or other similar tie-down points. more

Review of SmartStraps Ratchet Straps - Oversized Strap - 3481817- Video
Today we'll be taking a look at the Smart Straps ratchet tie down strap with double J hooks. This is going to be a large oversized strap to get your heavy cargo tightened down and secure in your truck or your trailer.Has this large ratchet mechanism. So to open this up, you just grab the bottom and then open up the handle. And as you can see, it's already pulling in our strap. So we can get that all tightened down. Whenever you're ready to go, you just want to close it all the way and that's going to keep everything secure and nice and tight.To pull the strap back out, to let out the slack, open it up all the way and then you're going to grab this middle handle down here at the bottom and that will allow you to open it all the way up and then you can pull on the slack. more
